Watch the shoes

Clean the dancing area
Just like any other unit in your home and place of work, you should regularly clean the dance floor for it to not only look good but also last for a long time. When you clean the unit, you get rid of dirt and debris that would result to damage if left there for long. The manner in which you clean the floor depends on the type of material used in the construction.
If you have a wooden floor, you should vacuum, sweep, or dust it. You should also ensure that it’s always dry to avoid damage to the wood. At least once a week you should mop the surface with a microfiber mop head. For ideal results, avoid using soaps or detergents. You should also avoid paste waxes, silicon-based polishes, or pine based cleaners in your work.
For a vinyl floor, you should use a Ph neutral cleaner to do your work. You should avoid cleansers made from ammonia or abrasives as they will damage the floor. To complete the work fast, it’s recommended that you use an automatic floor scrubber. When cleaning, you should be cautious that the cleaning solution doesn’t seep between the floor seams.
Recoat the dance floor
Even with the best care, it’s common for the floor to get damaged. To restore its original look, you should consider recoating the dance floor. If you are doing it for the first time, you should apply the first coat after 18-24 months. For the second coat, you should apply it 12-18 months after the first coat. After this, regularly inspect the floor for damage and determine the right time to recoat it.
